Frans has 30 years of experience in the South African Mining industry of which the majority was in Deep Level Gold Mining. He has also spent some time in the Platinum Industry. Frans is a member of AMMSA and is also registered as a Professional Certificated Engineer with ECSA.

Prior to joining Rand Uranium, Michael worked for Lonmin Platinum as the Infrastructure Manager providing Information Technology services for Lonmin Group. He has 25 years experience in the Information Technology field.

Rex Zorab
Senior Consultant in Sustainable Development

Rex gained a wealth of experience in the field of Sustainable Development at Harmony Gold Mine where he headed up the group function for environmental affairs including all closure liabilities and the introduction of ISO 14001. He is the former Chairman and Treasurer of the North West Transvaal Branch of the Institution of Certified Engineers and a former member of the Chamber of Mines Sub-committee of Consulting Engineers. Rex is a professional engineer with a B.Sc. Honours in Mechanical Engineering and a Certificate of Competency Mines.
